The Compliance and Audit Committee is to advise and assist the El Camino Hospital Board of Directors in its exercise of oversight by monitoring the compliance policies, controls and processes of the organization and its affiliated entities and the engagement, independence and performance of the internal auditor and external auditor. Members have experience in one of the four noted areas: healthcare compliance, audit, privacy, and enterprise risk management.
Candidates must either live within the El Camino Healthcare District or be willing to drive to El Camino Health in Mountain View for meetings.
Additional Considerations:
- The committee generally meets six times annually and jointly with the board of directors for educational sessions up to two times annually.
