The South Asian Heart Center's Health Strategies 2023: AIM to Prevent class is directly related to heart health and is offered not only in February, but also throughout the year. Applying concepts from building a personal financial plan, the class helps South Asian community members create a personal health strategy. Participants learn to set goals, track progress, see results and stay motivated. The AIM to Prevent Program is part of the South Asian Heart Center’s mission to fight the twin epidemics of heart attack and diabetes in the South Asian population. AIM stands for:
- Assess with advanced screening to uncover hidden risks
- Intervene with culturally appropriate lifestyle counseling
- Manage with personalized heart health coaching

The upcoming sessions covering the following topics are conducted in Mandarin. Register here.
