Our Community, Our Priority

Healthy individuals and families are the building blocks of a strong community, and our Community Benefit grants are an important piece of this foundation. We assess local health needs to build our strategy for making long-term investments in tackling disparities and improving the health of the populations we serve.

El Camino Healthcare District and El Camino Health invested $10.8 million in 140 grants and sponsorships with community and hospital-based programs in fiscal year 2024.

Through strategic investments in five community health needs, we are creating better health outcomes and healthier lifestyles to support community members. We accomplish this by increasing access to care, including behavioral health services; promoting healthy lifestyles; supporting individuals with chronic health conditions and reducing financial barriers to essential resources like food and housing.

There is great prosperity in our region but there are also many unmet health needs in our community. When we collaborate with our grant partners we are better able to address the needs of our neighbors experiencing vulnerability and start building health stability for everyone.
