Kavita Noble, CNM, RN, MSN, WHNP

Kavita Noble is a certified nurse midwife who has more than 20 years' experience supporting growing families and attending births in hospitals, homes and birth centers in the Bay area. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing as well as her credentials as a nurse midwife and a women's health nurse practitioner from University of California San Francisco.

Kavita specializes in all areas of reproductive and sexual healthcare throughout the lifespan. She enjoys building relationships with her clients and their families — especially during their pregnancy, birth and postpartum journeys.

Providing safe, respectful, trauma-informed care is important to Kavita. She believes that patients are the experts in their own health and strives to continue listening and learning with them. Kavita has worked with people from diverse backgrounds and uses a welcoming approach that honors each patient's cultural preferences and personal wishes.

"I believe that gentle, respectful healthcare is a right, and I enjoy the process of educating and making shared decisions with families in their reproductive healthcare choices," she explains.

Outside her practice, Kavita enjoys hiking, cycling and exploring the Santa Cruz mountains, where she lives. She's happily married and has two adult children and a beautiful young grandchild that she enjoys spending time with. "I enjoy a peaceful, creative life, puttering around my sweet home and learning new things," she says. She's also actively involved in professional organizations that increase access to midwifery, support birth equity and improve health outcomes.
