About Michael Margolis, MD
Dr. Michael Margolis specializes in female pelvic surgery. With nearly 25 years of experience, he is the only fellowship-trained and board-certified OB/GYN urogynecologist at El Camino Health. He is among only a few doctors in the area with expertise in an advanced, minimally invasive technique to treat urinary stress incontinence in women, known as the laparoscopic Burch colposuspension. This same-day surgery offers the highest success rate and the lowest risk.
In his work with women who have conditions that affect the pelvic organs, muscles and connective tissue, he takes great care to be compassionate — the patient and her well-being are always first and foremost in his approach.
