Michelle Pezzani, MD

Dr. Michelle Pezzani is a board-certified internal medicine doctor who currently serves as the medical director of Utilization of Resource Management at El Camino Health. She has been providing hospital-based care to patients at El Camino Health for more than 20 years. Dr. Pezzani uses her extensive experience to create safer, more efficient and more comfortable plans for patients as they transition from their hospitalization.

Dr. Pezzani strives to maintain strong relationships with home healthcare agencies, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation facilities and long-term hospitals to ensure that patients can have confidence following the recommendations that are made for them upon hospital discharge.

Outside her practice, Dr. Pezzani spends as much time as possible at the ocean — swimming, paddle boarding and learning to sail.
