Shiva Singhal, MD

Dr. Shiva Singhal is an attending physician at the Cancer Center. As a medical oncologist and hematologist, she’s an expert in a wide range of blood disorders and malignant conditions. She treats leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, benign blood disorders, breast cancer, lung cancer, colon cancer and others.

Her care philosophy stems from her view of every patient as a unique individual who requires a unique treatment plan. She takes special interest in educating patients about the disease, choosing the best treatment option and partnering with them to provide personalized care. She’s aggressive in her approach and believes in treating cancer even if it’s late-stage cancer.

“I am passionate about curing cancer; my focus is to make sure each patient can enjoy normal life outside of their disease. My team works with the patients and their families to tailor the treatment plan to work for each individual,” Dr. Singhal says.

Board certified in medical oncology, hematology and internal medicine, Dr. Singhal stays on top of the latest cancer treatments and technology, including integrative medicine approaches.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Singhal enjoys hiking, running, meditation and playing with kids.
