El Camino Health has been adhering to guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and the Santa Clara County Public Health Department (SCCPHD). Scheduling Elective Surgeries and Procedures
We are performing elective surgeries and procedures, including those that may have been postponed due to COVID-19. El Camino Health has put several safeguards in place to ensure your next surgery or procedure is a safe one. These safeguards include:
- Employees and doctors who may be part of the surgical team involved in your care are tested for COVID-19.
- Universal masking is mandatory in all buildings and areas of El Camino Health.
- All patients are tested for COVID-19 within 72 hours of surgery.
