Your Health Does Not Wait
Your Health and Safety Are Our Top Priorities
As you navigate your way back to health, El Camino Health is here to safely address your healthcare needs. We have added guidelines to our already stringent safety protocols to ensure you continue to receive excellent care for your next visit.
Our number one priority is the safety of our patients, families and colleagues. All required safety precautions that have been in place as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic will remain in place. El Camino Health has been adhering to guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and the Santa Clara County Public Health Department (SCCPHD). In addition, we have safety measures in place that go well beyond these guidelines.
We Are Now Performing Elective Surgeries and Procedures
Elective surgeries and procedures that were postponed due to COVID-19 can now be rescheduled. Some of the safeguards to ensure your next surgery or procedure is a safe one include:
- Employees and doctors who may be part of the surgical team involved in your care are tested for COVID-19.
- Universal masking is mandatory in all clinical areas of El Camino Health.
- All patients will be tested for COVID-19 within 72-hours of surgery.
- Our hospitals have implemented temporary visitor restrictions which remains in effect.
