An Observational Study of the ApricityCare™ Solution for Management of Immune-Related Adverse Events in Immuno-Oncology Patients
Study Type/Phase: Feasibility
Status: Not Recruiting
The purpose of this research study is to evaluate the use of a smart phone app called ApricityCare to monitor and report side effects of immunotherapy that patients receive for treatment of cancer. Immunotherapy has known side effects, and if those side effects are caught early, they may be less serious, easier to treat, and less likely to require discontinuing cancer therapy. Apricity Health has created a smart phone app called ApricityCare that allows a patient to monitor and report side effects to their doctor, so they can get evaluated and treated for these side effects early. The app also has educational material to teach patients about these side effects. This research study will test how well this smart phone app works and if patients find it easy to use for reporting and learning about these side effects.
