Study Type/Phase: Observational
Status: Recruiting

The purpose of this study is to provide a registry of baseline and outcome data for very low birth weight infants, based on data collected in a uniform manner, from neonatal intensive care units at institutions participating in the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development and Neonatal Research Network (NICHD). The information collected is not specific to a disease or treatment, and data is analyzed to find associations and trends between baseline information, treatments, and infant outcome, and to develop future trials.

This is an on-going database project that accrues 15-25 neonates from El Camino Hospital each year.

Speak with your doctor to determine whether you meet the following criteria for participation in this study.
