Alzheimer's Disease Family Support Group

Co-Sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association, these meetings offer support, understanding and an opportunity to share experiences. Develop new skills and learn from other group members who may have faced similar challenges. Meetings may include education and information about dementia to help participants develop methods and skills to solve problems.
This support group is not for the person with the diagnosis. If you need information regarding respite for your loved one so you are able to attend this support group, please contact the Alzheimer's Association at (800) 272-3900 for further information and assistance.
In addition to this support group, the Alzheimer's Association co-sponsors the Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) and Early Stage Alzheimer's Support Group. This group is for caregivers and support people of individuals with the beginning symptoms of memory loss and dementia and newly diagnosed individuals.
This group meets on the first Thursday of every month.
