Class meets Sundays - 7/12 & 7/13, 2019; 10:00 am - 2:30 pm
This series of classes helps prepare couples for childbirth, offering nine hours of comprehensive coverage on pregnancy, labor and birth and post-delivery recover. Other topics include relaxation and breathing techniques, the anatomy and physiology of all stages of labor and birth, a review of medical interventions such as induction, augmentation, medications and anesthesia options are also covered.
Classes are taught by certified childbirth instructors. Presentations includes videos, PowerPoint presentations, handouts, and a workbook on the stages of labor. A tour of the maternity building (Women's Hospital) is included with all registrations.
This class is for expecting parents. This class should be taken in the last trimester of pregnancy, finishing 4-6 weeks before the baby's due date. These classes fill up quickly we recommend registering by the end of the first trimester.

This class is recommended for both parents. Registration is required.
A single registration with completed payment of $145.00 covers two people.
A full refund will be given for cancellations made at least 2 weeks prior to the class start date. A refund, less $15.00 processing fee will be given for cancellations made at least 1 week prior to class start date. No refunds will be given for cancellations occurring less than 1 week prior to the class start date.
