The Lyme Disease support group provides guest speakers, education, medical information, and moral support to those who are affected by Lyme Disease. Lyme disease is an infection caused by the bacteria Borrelia burgdorferi. Lyme disease is commonly spread by a tick bite. Some people develop post-Lyme disease syndrome (PLDS). A condition also known as chronic Lyme disease includes PLDS, but also other syndromes.
Meets on the second Tuesday of each month.
