Based on the methods of Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D., the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program is designed to teach mind and body awareness techniques that help with the physical or psychological effects of stress, pain, or illness. Mindfulness is the practice of cultivating non-judgmental awareness in day-to-day life. Mindfulness develops the potential to experience each moment, no matter how difficult or intense, with serenity and clarity. One can feel more alive and joyful and gain immediate access to powerful inner resources for healing and stress management.
$375 + $25 material fee ($25 material fee to be paid directly to instructor by cash or check. Please bring your payment to the first class). Partial scholarships are available for those with financial limitations.
