Joint pain is an unfortunate part of life for many, either as a result of natural aging, or due to injury or overuse. But there are many ways to stand up to joint pain and return to a more active lifestyle, pain free. In this series of free orthopedic lectures, our experts will discuss the latest tips and treatments to prevent and resolve common problems with hip, knee, and other joints.
Join us for a lecture on Mako Robotic Joint Replacements. Designed for those with arthritis and joint degeneration in the hip or knee, Mako system technology allows us to completely customize your surgical plan to fit your anatomy. To do this, we begin by taking a computerized tomography (CT) scan of your hip or knee. Then, we upload the image to the Mako system software, which creates a 3D model of your joint. Our expert team then uses this 3D model to create your completely customized surgical plan, which allows us to create a more precise result in your joint replacement.
Akira Yamamoto, MD, Orthopedic Surgeon and Mako Joint Replacement Expert
The lecture will take place in the conference center, located on the ground floor of the main hospital, past the cafeteria.
