El Camino Health's senior management team volunteered their time in August sorting produce, washing crates and painting over graffiti for the Community Services Agency (CSA) of Mountain View & Los Altos. They also toured the CSA building and learned more about what the agency offers for older residents and how it serves the community.
CSA is the safety net organization for Mountain View, Los Altos and Los Altos Hills, providing food, case management, emergency financial assistance, housing case management and referrals to benefits for community members who are low-income, homeless or aging.
CSA is an El Camino Healthcare District Community Benefit grant partner, with funds supporting intensive case management for seniors with chronic medical conditions. The target population includes adults 55 and older who live in their own home or apartment in the El Camino Healthcare District and have at least one chronic health condition that puts them at risk for hospitalization.
