Allon Rafael, MD

Allon Rafael, MD, is a specialist in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology who grew up in the Bay Area. He treats patients with cardiac arrhythmias using individualized approaches, innovative therapies and advanced technologies, such as catheter ablation.

Earning his undergraduate degree from UCLA and medical degree from Tel Aviv University, Dr. Rafael is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology.
He works with each patient on a personalized care plan.

“My philosophy is to do my best to put the patient in the driver seat, in control of making important decisions regarding their care,” he says. This includes educating patients about their heart rhythm conditions, different management strategies available, and the risks and benefits of each option.

“To create a plan together with the patient that has a lasting impact on the patient’s health is absolutely the most rewarding part of my job.”

Dr. Rafael says he is proud to be giving back to the community, is humbled by the practice of medicine and is honored by each relationship he forms with his patients.

In addition to English, Dr. Rafael speaks Spanish and Hebrew.
