Harvey Fishman, MD, PhD

Dr. Harvey Fishman is an ophthalmologist on staff at El Camino Health. He offers his patients a full range of eye care services — from annual exams to second opinions and consultations for complex eye conditions.  He has special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of dry eye disease. 

Dr. Fishman is committed to being accessible to his patients. He spends time with each individual and listens carefully so he can create a treatment plan that will produce the best possible result.

With a strong background in research at Stanford University Ophthalmology, Dr. Fishman continues to pursue clinical research. His current areas of study include developing advanced diagnostics for detecting eye disease, new therapies for dry eye disease and digital health applications for telemedicine. 

He enjoys being on staff at El Camino Health and working with the hospital’s excellent healthcare professionals.
