Sandra Lee, MD, PhD

Sandra Lee, MD, is a board-certified general pediatrician who provides a full spectrum of pediatric care. She has special interests in newborn care and adolescent medicine.

After finishing her MD as well as her PhD in biochemistry at the University of Washington, Dr. Lee went on to complete her pediatric residency at University of Texas Southwestern and University of California Los Angeles. Training at these institutions that are not only well-established in primary care, but also in specialized tertiary medicine and laboratory research, has given her a unique background toward patient care.

“As a pediatrician, it’s a privilege to help my patients grow into healthy adults by problem solving any health issues that may arise,” she says. “I enjoy taking the needed time not only to educate my patients and their parents, but more importantly I enjoy taking the time to get to know them, so together we can make the best decisions to support the patient's overall physical and emotional well-being.”

Dr. Lee enjoys working at El Camino Health because of the shared values and easy collaboration with her colleagues. She appreciates partnering with El Camino Health and their advanced technologies to further enhance her patients’ healthcare.

Outside her practice, Dr. Lee spends time with her family by visiting the various escape rooms in the South Bay and exploring the diverse cuisine in the area.
