Community Benefit partner School of Arts and Culture at MHP is removing economic barriers in East San Jose’s Mayfair neighborhood with the Los Mercaditos Hunger Relief Program. Twice a month, families can receive free, healthy food at community farmers markets.
Children and youth who are victims of child abuse benefit from psychotherapy but often don’t have access to behavioral health resources. Community Benefit partner Bill Wilson Center works to address this need through the Child Abuse Treatment Program (CHAT), which provides psychotherapy treatment services, information and help navigating the criminal justice system.

At Camp Via West, Community Benefit partner Via Services hosts a summer camp program for youth with developmental disabilities or cognitive and social challenges. Community Benefit program funding gives campers access to Youth Healthcare Services, including individual health screenings, and more.
