Mountain View, CA - January 10, 2014 - The El Camino Hospital Bariatric Surgery Program recently achieved its re-accreditation as a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence from the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS), the leading bariatric specialty organization in the country.
This accreditation means that the Bariatric Surgery program operates at the highest levels of professional quality and patient care. The team, led by Bariatric Nurse, Karen Thomas, underwent a rigorous process of evaluations to ensure the highest levels of quality across safety, training, follow-up, and surgical volume standards.
