With over 15 years of nursing and healthcare management experience, Kirstan has built a career dedicated to elevating the quality of care for both patients and providers. She holds a Bachelor of Science with a minor in Health Professions from San José State University and is certified as a Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).
She joined El Camino Health Medical Network as the Quality Improvement Nurse, where she played a key role in advancing clinical quality and strengthening care processes across the organization. She now serves as the Vice President of Quality Performance, leading network-wide initiatives to improve outcomes, enhance patient experience, and support providers through data-driven performance improvement strategies.
A lifelong resident of San José, she brings deep community insight and a passion for advancing clinical excellence across the healthcare continuum. Her work reflects a strong commitment to improving outcomes, strengthening care delivery systems, and fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
