Community Benefit partner Health Mobile provides free, comprehensive dental treatments to low-income and unhoused individuals throughout San Jose. See how their clinics on wheels continue to improve oral health access and delivery.

Oral health is a critical part of overall health, yet many children and families struggle to receive the dental services they need. In honor of National Children’s Dental Health Month (NCHDM), we’re highlighting Community Benefit partner Health Mobile, a nonprofit focused on providing onsite dental and primary healthcare services to the underserved population in Northern California.

With support from the Community Benefit program, Health Mobile offers free, comprehensive dental treatments to low-income children, adults, seniors and unhoused individuals at locations throughout San Jose.

In their state-of-the-art mobile clinics, dentists and clinic staff provide:

  • Dental cleanings and exams
  • Fillings, root canals and extractions
  • Full mouth X-rays
  • Oral cancer screenings
  • Oral hygiene and smoking cessation education

Health Mobile’s dental services directly promote healthcare access and delivery in our community, one of the top needs identified in El Camino Health’s fiscal year 2026 Implementation Strategy Report and Community Benefit Plan.
