Advanced Cardiovascular Specialists Joins El Camino Health Medical Network to Expand Access to Patient-Centered Heart Care

July 23, 2025 - Advanced Cardiovascular Specialists (ACS), a leading provider of comprehensive cardiac care, has officially joined the El Camino Health Medical Network (ECHMN), and is now called El Camino Health Cardiovascular Specialists. This partnership significantly expands El Camino Health Medical Network's specialty offerings and allows El Camino Health to better serve the community through expanded ambulatory services.

"Our acquisition of ACS speaks to our market-leading efforts to attract the best and the brightest physicians to El Camino Health Medical Network as we grow throughout the region," said Peter Goll, chief administrative officer of El Camino Health Medical Network. "With the backing of El Camino Health, our physicians have access to the latest diagnostic tools and technology, some of which harness AI to enable them to spend more time with their patients and less time on administrative functions."

El Camino Health Cardiovascular Specialists offers patients access to deep expertise in diagnosing, treating and preventing a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. Current patients of the newly acquired group will continue receiving care from the same trusted physicians and teams they know and rely upon. The partnership expands El Camino Health’s existing cardiology team. In addition to general cardiology services, El Camino Health Cardiovascular Specialists offers a range of subspecialties, including vascular specialists, cardiac electrophysiologists, interventional cardiologists, and women’s heart specialists. The partnership will expand care for El Camino Health patients, who can now receive personalized cardiology services at five clinics in the South Bay Area.

"ACS physicians bring expertise in interventional procedures, from coronary stent placement to complex valve intervention, cardiac ablation for rhythm disorders, and pacemaker placement," said Dr. Raabia Ahmad, president of El Camino Health Cardiovascular Specialists. "By expanding access to this level of care throughout the community, patients can receive high-quality, personalized treatment close to home—without having to travel far. These services will further strengthen El Camino Health’s reputation for exceeding national benchmarks in quality and safety."

Existing patients can expect a smooth and seamless transition. Our nationally recognized team will continue to provide care at the current location in Mountain View (2490 Hospital Drive, Suite 311) with no changes to the phone number, which is (650) 962-4690. Existing patients will also have uninterrupted access to their medical records through the same electronic health record system that has been used during the course of their care.
