"This acknowledgement recognizes El Camino Health's growing reputation as Silicon Valley's healthcare partner of choice, and I am grateful for this distinction of being part of the Power 100 as we continue making strides across the healthcare industry and helping our patients live their best lives," said Woods. Woods joined El Camino Health as CEO in 2017. With more than 25 years of healthcare experience, Woods has championed complex, business transformation strategies, and fostered a collaborative environment with physicians to deliver high quality, accessible, and frictionless consumer healthcare experiences.

During his tenure, El Camino Health expanded its service footprint from two acute care hospitals to include a modern mental health hospital, a rehabilitative hospital, outpatient services and urgent, primary and specialty care clinics throughout Santa Clara County. El Camino Health continued its commitment to maternal health with a $149 million investment and three-phase expansion project on the Mountain View campus. Recently, the maternity and NICU moved into the portion of the renovated space that has been finished. All phases of the project are expected to be completed in 2024.

The Silicon Valley Power 100 special edition will be published on Friday, February 2.
