General Cardiologist

El Camino Health Medical Network is seeking an outstanding non-invasive clinical cardiologist to join our hospital-affiliated, single-specialty cardiology group. Our group consists of general, interventional and EP cardiologists.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a long standing and respected group to grow and expand a regionally recognized program. Large external referral base and affiliation with a mid-size community state-of-the-art hospital. In this dynamic position, the cardiologist will play a key role in the further development of a non-invasive laboratory, advanced cardiovascular imaging and the structural heart program (ie TAVR, Watchman, Mitraclip). Must possess a strong work ethic and ability to collaborate with colleagues to maintain and expand an existing successful program.
The ideal candidate will have completed his/her Cardiology Fellowship program and have exemplary clinical and interpersonal skills. Preference will be given to applicants who are Board Eligible/Certified in Cardiology, Echocardiography (including Transesophageal Echocardiography), Nuclear imaging, and coronary CT angiography. Cardiac MRI experience is welcomed.
Major Responsibilities
- Non-Invasive study interpretations
- Inpatient consultation and hospital rounds
- Inpatient and out-patient activities for general cardiology
- Night and weekend cardiology call
- Practice expansion plan (establishment of satellite programs)
