Vice President, Physician Alignment / Network Development

Bernard (Barry) Naughton serves as Vice President of Physician Integration and Network Development for El Camino Health and El Camino Health Medical Network. In this role, he leads the development, growth, and operational management of the El Camino Health Alliance IPA, with primary responsibility for governance, strategy, physician recruitment and onboarding, network development, performance incentive design, and overall IPA growth. Barry is also a key champion for physician practice adoption of Epic Community Connect to support coordinated, high-quality care.

Barry brings more than 35 years of healthcare experience focused exclusively on provider and medical group development, market expansion, and operational performance. His background includes 15 years as a management consultant advising healthcare organizations on physician integration strategies, practice valuation, acquisitions, managed care network development, and joint ventures. He also has 15 years of progressive leadership in medical group business development and operations, including serving as Chief Administrative Officer of a Bay Area medical group foundation that grew from start-up to a multispecialty organization of more than 100 physicians. Over the past five years, he has led IPA development and operations for El Camino Health, guiding physician network development from inception to maturing physician integration care models.

Barry holds a BA in Economics from Stony Brook University and a Master of Health Administration from Cornell University.
