Alan R. Muster, MD, MBA, MHA, FCCP

President

Dr. Muster brings a wealth of experience in physician leadership, strategic vision, and operational excellence. Most recently, he led more than 600 medical and surgical specialists, 500 advanced practice professionals and 2,500 team members as senior vice president at Wellstar Health System in Georgia.

His background as a practicing pulmonary/critical care physician, medical director, and clinical leader gives him a deep understanding of the needs of both providers and patients. Dr. Muster holds a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from Brown University and a medical degree from Rutgers University. He completed his residency and fellowship at Brown University and later earned both an MBA and MHA from Georgia State University.

Throughout his career, Dr. Muster has demonstrated a commitment to innovation, physician engagement, and building high-performing teams that deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
