Our team-based approach brings together providers in emergency obstetrics, high-risk pregnancy care and perinatal diagnostics. Whether your pregnancy is low-risk or more complex, our focus is always on you and your baby’s health.

Obstetrics Emergency Department

If your pregnancy takes an unexpected turn, we’re ready. Obstetrics (OB) emergency care is available 24/7 — no waiting, no referrals. Whether you feel contractions, notice unusual symptoms or just know something isn’t right, our obstetricians are here to evaluate and care for you right away.

Patients who are at least 16 weeks pregnant and need urgent care can go straight to the OB emergency department, located at our Mountain View and Los Gatos hospitals.

High-Risk Pregnancy Care

Learning that your pregnancy involves added risks can be unexpected and overwhelming. Our team of maternal-fetal medicine specialists, OB/GYNs and genetic counselors works together to closely monitor your health and your baby’s development. We support your decisions, provide clear guidance and do everything we can to ensure a safe, healthy delivery.

El Camino Health/Stanford Children’s Health Perinatal Diagnostic Center

Located at our Mountain View campus, the El Camino Health/Stanford Children’s Health Perinatal Diagnostic Center offers advanced prenatal testing, imaging and genetic counseling for high-risk pregnancies. Our experts partner with you to assess your baby’s health, explain results clearly and guide your next steps.

California Black Infant Health Program

The California Black Infant Health (BIH) Program, offered by the County of Santa Clara, is a free statewide resource supporting Black mothers during pregnancy and the postpartum period. The program promotes equitable health outcomes by offering safe spaces to connect with other moms, receive guidance from a public health nurse and set personal goals. Through group sessions, culturally affirming education and support, BIH helps Black mothers and their babies thrive during a critical time.
