El Camino Health’s Food is Health initiative shared joy, connection, delight and health tips at the Making Memories Holiday Program, hosted by the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce. On Dec. 12, 13, and 14, the team gave out healthy treats to families at the Sweet Surprises tent before and after trolley rides and visits with Santa.
Our Food is Health team has been out in the community this holiday season, helping others make better food choices to prevent illness, support recovery and maintain lifelong wellness. On Friday, Dec. 12, through Sunday, Dec. 14, Food is Health hosted the Sweet Surprises tent at the Magical Memories Holiday Program, distributing healthy treats to children and families in Los Gatos.
Magical Memories is a newer tradition, hosted by the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce throughout December.

“What excites me most about this event is the joy and connection it brings to local families,” says Jennifer Lin, chief executive officer at Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce. “You can feel it in the heartwarming moments — visiting Santa, hopping on the trolley or enjoying sips of gourmet hot chocolate. This year, our new Sweet Surprises tent added another touch of magic, with partners like El Camino Health offering treats and small activities to help children feel cared for and supported.”
El Camino Health is a title sponsor of the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce, which strives to make our community a better place to work, live and play. This festive event helped share joy, connection and delight while also promoting health living.
“Support from partners like El Camino Health allows us to offer all these experiences free to the community and reflects their deep commitment to the wellbeing of the families they serve every day,” says Lin.
