Empowering Parents of Adolescents: New Virtual Workshops
El Camino Health is pleased to announce the latest ASPIRE Virtual Parent Education Workshops, beginning this September. Hosted via Zoom and offered at no cost, these lunchtime sessions are designed to help parents of adolescents support their children’s well-being.
ASPIRE stands for After‑School Program Interventions and Resiliency Education. The ASPIRE program delivers licensed, clinically guided outpatient therapy for adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, substance use, and other mental health challenges.
Integral to ASPIRE’s holistic model are parent workshops—interactive sessions designed to boost mental health literacy, enhance parent‑child communication, and equip families with practical tools. The impact and value of these workshops is clear: nearly 700 parents registered during the 2024–25 series—with parents praising the actionable tips and clinician-led insights.
The next workshop series begins September 9, 2025, with additional sessions planned through June 2026. Visit the Scrivner Center’s education portal to see the schedule and register.
