Celebrating a Year of Impact — Thanks to You

A Message from Andrew Cope, President, El Camino Health Foundation

Celebrating a Year of Impact — Thanks to You

As we turn the page to a new fiscal year, I want to take a moment to thank you—our dedicated donor community—for your extraordinary generosity. Thanks to your support, El Camino Health Foundation closed fiscal year 2025 on a strong and inspiring note, with more than $12.9 million in philanthropy, fueling programs that continue to advance patient care and community well-being.

In this issue, you’ll read about just a few of the specific ways your contributions have made a meaningful difference just in the most recent spring and summer months:

  • Oncology360, a dynamic patient-centered community event focused on helping patients and their loved ones survive cancer and live their best lives,
  • Nursing scholarships that are providing vital financial support to the next generation of compassionate El Camino Health caregivers,
  • Mental health programming such as our award-winning ASPIRE webinars and the popular maternal mental health symposium, and
  • Grants made possible through unrestricted giving, which allow the Foundation to respond quickly and strategically to areas of greatest need.

Your commitment is also critical to helping our health system maintain its excellence in innovative and impactful care. In May, El Camino Health once again earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group—a national recognition of our clinical excellence and culture of safety. This national distinction marks the sixth consecutive "A" grade for our Los Gatos hospital, and the tenth straight "A" for the Mountain View campus. El Camino Health is the only health system in the South Bay to have two hospitals receive the top safety grade for spring 2025. El Camino Health was also recognized this spring by Becker's Hospital Review as one of the top Hospitals and Health Systems with great Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Programs. The hospitals and health systems featured on this list are recognized for their steadfast commitment to improving mental and behavioral health by providing comprehensive support for patients’ emotional and psychiatric well-being.

As we build on this momentum, I invite you to consider joining our Circle of Caring with a gift of any amount. Your continued support ensures that the compassionate professionals of El Camino Health can continue to offer healing and hope for all who turn to us.

I hope you take pride in all that we’ve achieved together. Thank you for being an essential part of the El Camino Health community.

With best wishes,
Andrew T. Cope
