April 2026 Health Tips

Now is a great time to do a little spring cleaning with your health and wellness habits.

 

These quick and easy tips are a great place to start!

1-Minute Tip: Replace your sunscreen. Throw out anything that’s expired, or has been sitting in a car for monger than a year, as well as anything that has discolored or changed in texture or odor. Get a head start on protecting your skin by ensuring you have fresh and fully effective sunscreen on hand.

5-Minute Tip: Write down three things you are grateful for at this very minute, as well as one “win” you’ve had in the past day. Reminding yourself of the little things that make your life fulfilling can help you reset your entire day.

15-Minute Tip: Declutter one area of your home or office. Living with clutter can increase cortisol levels and add to anxiety, and it’s also a good place for dust and other allergens to accumulate and affect your physical health. Set a timer for 15 minutes and tackle one area each day or week. You’ll be surprised at how much you can accomplish in such a short amount of time!

30-Minute Tip: Do an emergency readiness check. Locate your flashlights and make sure they have fresh batteries. Go through your first-aid kit and replace any expired items and replenish any items you may have used. Make sure your family has an exit plan in case of natural disasters.
