Multi-task this spring by enjoying the sunny weather while also taking care of your physical and mental health.

Follow these tips for healthy ways to enjoy the sun this season:

1-Minute Tip: Remember to wear sunscreen. No matter what you’re doing outside, make sure to put on sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher.

5-Minute Tip: Go for a quick walk when talking to friends or family members on the phone. This way you can get some fresh air while still taking time to talk with your loved one. Or better yet, invite them to join you for a walk in the sunshine.

15-Minute Tip: Ride your bike for local errands. If you’re not too far away, biking while running your regular errands (grocery store, post office, etc.) is a great way to start the day on a good note, while enjoying the sunshine and fresh air. Plus, you’ll save gas money!

30-Minute Tip: Enjoy the sun with some active outdoor activities that your whole family can enjoy. Hiking, canoeing, biking or even a simple walk to the park are all fun ways to enjoy the sun and get your blood pumping.
