Here are a few tips to help relieve some of your allergy symptoms.
1-minute tip: Remove clothing you’ve worn outside as soon as possible. Allergens can stay with you on your clothing after spending time outside, and will thus transfer to your couch or bed if you sit or lie down shortly after coming inside.
5-minute tip: Rinse your nose with saline solution. You can make your own salt water solution by dissolving 1 teaspoon of sea salt in a quart of boiled distilled water. Once cooled, put into a neti pot and pour solution into one nostril, letting it drain out the other.
15-minute tip: Buy local honey. Buying honey from the area in which you live can help your body adapt to the allergens of the area.
30-minute tip: Cook with turmeric. This spice that is common in Indian cuisine contains natural decongestant and allergy-relief properties.
