The holiday season is now in full swing, and 2026 is right around the corner! No matter how busy it gets, take a few minutes to focus on staying healthy and well with these easy tips:

 

1-Minute Tip: Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Hum your favorite holiday tune. Humming stimulates the vagus nerve, which can help lower heart rate and promote a sense of calm. Plus it’s a sure way to increase your holiday spirit!

5 minute tip: Don’t hit the buffet at a holiday party without doing a little reconnaissance first. Take a few minutes to scan all the offerings so you’re able to make more conscious selections. Enjoy a few special holiday treats for sure, but include some fruits and vegetables to keep your plate a little more balanced.

15 minute tip: Ask your holiday guests to provide you with a list of food allergies or other dietary restrictions now so you can plan ahead and double-check your ingredients. Send your hosts the same kind of list for your family, and you’ll help avoid any holiday scares.

30 minute tip: You know the joy you feel when you receive holiday cards in the mail? You can get almost as much joy from writing a few and sending them out to other people! Sitting down and focusing on sharing the holiday spirit is a great way to practice gratitude and increase holiday cheer all the way around!
