1-Minute Tip: Floss your teeth and help keep your gums healthy as your breath fresh. Only 30% of us floss daily, yet it’s one of the easiest things you can do to preserve your dental health – and maybe even help your heart health as well!
5-Minute Tip: Mix up a bowl of overnight oats for a hearty and healthy breakfast in the morning. Just combine some oats, fruit, nuts, chia seeds, peanut butter, or other nutritious ingredients in a mason jar, add milk, and refrigerate overnight. Delicious!
15-Minute Tip: Change the batteries in every smoke and carbon monoxide detector in your home. Not only will you insure they are in proper working order, but you’ll also avoid the last minute hunt for fresh batteries when the low battery warning beeps start coming in the middle of the night.
30-Minute Tip: Make sure your home is safe and ready for trick-or-treaters. Rake up any leaves, clear obstacles from the walkways, and make sure the outside is well-light. If you choose to have a jack-o-lantern with a candle, place it in a clear corner with at least three feet of clearance around it.
