Grain-Free "Oatmeal"

Keep your New Year health kick going strong with this energy-fueled breakfast.


  • ¼ cup finely chopped walnuts
  • ¼ cup finely chopped pecans
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed
  • 1 tbsp hemp hearts
  • 2 tbsp almond flour
  • 2 tbsp coconut flour
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ⅛ tsp salt


  • Raspberries, strawberries or blueberries
  • Nut butter of choice


  1. Finely chop the walnuts and pecans, then combine in a small bowl with the other ingredients except the almond milk and maple syrup.
  2. Warm the almond milk until steaming, then add to the mix with the maple syrup. Stir until combined.
  3. Top with berries and nut butter of choice, then serve and enjoy!
