Prenatal Classes
We are here to help you feel ready when it is time to deliver. Now is the perfect time to learn about what to expect during labor and delivery and how to prepare to bring your baby home. We offer classes on childbirth, baby care, breastfeeding, infant safety and more to help you feel more ready when your baby arrives. Our prenatal classes are taught by experienced labor and delivery nurses with special certifications. We also offer free breastfeeding support groups and internationally Board-Certified Lactation Consultants to provide support once you go home.

The birthing suites at our Mountain View and Los Gatos hospitals offer large, private spaces with plenty of room for you and your baby. We offer a range of services from lactation support to onsite neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) to keep you and your baby safe, healthy and comfortable during your stay.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
As your due date approaches, familiarizing yourself with some of the specifics of your delivery experience can help ease some of the anxiety you might be feeling. Depending on where you are delivering, we offer in-person and virtual tours of our birthing centers.
Los Gatos Birthing Center Tour
We offer free, in-person maternity tours for our Los Gatos location so you can see the space you’ll be delivering in as well as many of the health, safety and comfort amenities available to you. During your tour, our team members share what to expect from admission to discharge during your stay at Los Gatos Hospital. You will have a chance to familiarize yourself with the space and ask questions during this free, one-hour tour.

Mountain View Virtual Tours
Our virtual maternity tour can help you learn about the intimate, nurturing environment where your upcoming delivery is taking place and many of the health, safety and comfort features available to you during your stay at Mountain View Hospital. During your tour, our experienced Labor & Delivery nurses share more about what to expect during your stay. This free, one-hour virtual class also includes an interactive chat and live Q&A. At this time, we do not offer in-person tours at Mountain View Hospital.
