Connecting you with information that supports the health of you and your family is one of our top priorities. We reach out to the community through innovative programs, including:

  • Medical information and advice from a doctor. Through partnership with the largest Chinese newspaper, World Journal, we offer health information that’s relevant to you. Read Ask-a-Doc medical columns here.
  • Senior health resources. El Camino Health worked closely with Chinese-speaking doctors and leaders from the community to develop the Health Resource Guide for Chinese Seniors in Santa Clara County (PDF). Written in both Chinese and English, it provides a wide range of information that contributes to the health and well-being of seniors. This guide helps families and caregivers find information and resources to enrich the lives of their aging loved ones. Information about Medicare and Medi-Cal, healthcare facilities, and community programs for transportation and meals is included.
  • Chinese health and wellness books. You'll find a variety of health and wellness books written in Chinese in our Health Library & Resource Center — available at no charge to you. Membership is limited to California residents only. The Library membership form is available in Chinese. After submitting your application, you will receive your library card in the mail in 10 business days.
